Flu Clinics
During flu season, Acton Nursing Services offers a number flu clinics for Acton residents at the Acton Town Hall, the Acton Senior Center, and Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. Flu Clinics are advertised on our website, in The Acton Wicked Local/Beacon, in the Action Unlimited, and on the informational signs located in town.

AB Cares: Mental Health Update
AB United Way is proud to co-found AB Cares, a community-based collaborative effort to prevent suicide. AB Cares, a community coalition, serves as a community response to mental health issues. Learn more.
AB Cares includes all residents of the community as youth, middle-aged men, and seniors are at the greatest risk of death by suicide. For Acton and Boxborough, the comprehensive 2022 Youth Risk Behavior survey revealed that students experienced the following:
Higher rates of depression than pre-pandemic rates in all grades.
More stress due to events and pressure at home, and less stress due to the pandemic.
More sexual harassment and suicide attempts in all grades.
Higher rates of bullying and self-harm in 6th grade than in other grades.
